There is going to be a British invasion in Manila’s concert scene in 2015 as 4 big UK acts, namely Ed Sheeran, 1975, The Vamps and One Direction, are set to perform their respective shows here,
Concert promoter Music Management International made the announcement.

Shortly after The 1975’s concert, The Vamps will rock Manila on February 1 at the same venue.
The band, consisting of Connor Ball, Tristan Evans, James McVey and Brad Simpson, first became a hit on YouTube with their videos “Wild Heart” and “Can We Dance” before their mainstream breakthrough in 2013.
“Manila, we are coming for you on Feb. 1 at the MOA Arena! Who's coming to party with us?” The Vamps tweeted on September 19.
Ed Sheeran in March
Local fans of Ed Sheeran are thrilled to know that the singer-songwriter is finally having his concert on March 12 in MOA Arena.
The multi-awarded artist is best known for his singles “The A Team,” “Lego House,” “Sing” and “Give Me Love.”
In his nine years in the music industry, Ed has already headlined solo tours, namely “+” in 2011 and 2013, and “x” in 2014 to 2015.
One Direction, also in March
One Direction has already announced their concerts on March 21 and 22 in MOA grounds.
The British boy band made news recently when tickets for the first day of their concert in Manila were sold out only hours after release.
One Direction is composed of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, known for their hit songs “What Makes You Beautiful,” “Kiss You” and “Best Song Ever.”
